I started reading Model Railroader Magazine in 1976 when during a school trip to the library I found a copy of the magazine. I can still remember the pictures and articles to this day that influenced me to become a Model Railroader. Since then the magazine has never failed to inspire me to try new projects and marvel at the work of others modelers around the country.
